To connect your Tenda Dual Band WiFi 6 Router to the internet, follow these steps:
1. Power off your modem and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Connect the WAN port of the router to the LAN port of your modem using an Ethernet cable.
3. Power on your modem and wait for it to establish a connection.
4. Power on the Tenda router.
5. Connect your wireless client (e.g., smartphone) to the WiFi network of the router, or use an Ethernet cable to connect a computer to one of the LAN ports (1, 2, or IPTV/3) of the router. The SSID (WiFi name) and password can be found on the bottom label of the device.
6. Once connected, open a web browser on your client device and enter "tendawifi.com" in the address bar to access the web UI of the router. Alternatively, you can use the Tenda WiFi app.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process. The router will automatically detect your internet connection type. If further configuration is required, you may need to enter your PPPoE username and password provided by your ISP.
8. Set the WiFi name, WiFi password, and login password for the router.
9. Click "Next" to finish the setup process.
After completing these steps, you should be able to access the internet using your WiFi-enabled devices by connecting to the WiFi network of the router or by connecting wired devices to the LAN ports of the router using an Ethernet cable.
If you encounter any issues during the setup process or have further questions, refer to the FAQ section in the manual or contact Tenda's technical support for assistance.
