To charge your Starkey Evolv AI RIC Rechargeable Hearing Aids, follow these steps:
1. Place your hearing aids in the charger with the earbuds or earmolds resting inside the reservoir.
2. Your hearing aids will turn off automatically and begin to charge as long as your charger is powered. If you are using the Standard Charger without an onboard battery, make sure it is connected to an external power source, such as a wall outlet.
3. The LEDs on the charger will indicate the charging status of each hearing aid. A glowing green LED means the hearing aids are charging, a solid green LED means they are fully charged, and a blinking red LED indicates a fault state.
4. If a fault state occurs, remove the hearing aids from the charger, wait until the LED turns off, and then re-insert the aids. If the fault state continues, contact your hearing professional.
5. If you have the pocket-sized Mini Turbo Charger, ask your hearing professional about it. It provides a 3.5-hour charge in just seven minutes.
6. Charging can occur with the charger lid open or closed. The hearing aids will be fully charged in under 3 1/2 hours.
7. It is safe to store your hearing aids in the charger after they are fully charged or any time you are not wearing them.
8. If you will not be wearing your hearing aids for an extended period (weeks), remove both the plug from the charger and the hearing aids from the charging ports. Manually power off the hearing aids by pressing the user control on each aid for three seconds. You may store them in the reservoir.
9. The desiccant puck provided with the charger will be effective for 3-6 months. Replace it when the desiccant puck fades from blue to white.
Note: The charging process may vary depending on the model of your hearing aids and charger. Please refer to the user guide or contact your hearing professional for specific instructions.
