To install the Beko HCA92640BH Cooker Hood, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to read the safety information provided in the user manual.
2. Prepare the location and electrical installation of the hood. It is recommended to contact the nearest Authorized Service for assistance with the installation.
3. Determine the position of the appliance. The distance between the cooker and the cooker hood should be at least 65 cm. Measure this distance from the surface of the grate for gas cookers or the surface of the glass for electric cookers.
4. Ensure that the wall where the hood will be mounted is flat, straight, and has sufficient bearing capacity.
5. Use the provided installation accessories, including the outer and inner chimneys, chimney connection plate, flue adapter, screws, and dowels.
6. Draw a mid location line from the ceiling perpendicular to the lower edge of the hood. Paste the provided installing template on the surface where the hood will be mounted, aligning it according to the maximum height.
7. Mark the holes where the flue connection plate will be mounted on the wall using a pen. Drill the marked points with a Ø6mm drill and insert plastic dowels into the drilled holes.
8. Fix the flue connection plate to the wall using the provided screws.
9. Install the hanger plates on the motor cabin by loosening the screws, pulling them up, and then fastening them again.
10. Turn on the suction glass of the hood and remove the grease filter.
11. Connect the flue to the flue fastening plates on the motor cabin and secure it with screws.
12. If using a flue connection, connect one end of the pipe to the flue adapter or direct output on the product, and the other end to your flue. Ensure the connections are tight.
13. If using the carbon filter, remove the flaps inside the flue adapter and install the carbon filter by fitting it to the tabs and tightening it by turning right or left.
14. Install the grease filter and replace the suction glass.
15. Make the electrical connection of the hood.
16. Secure the cooker hood to the wall by placing it on the mounting screws and tightening them. Use the provided screws to secure the hood to the wall through the mounting hole on the interior of the appliance.
17. Connect the flue flaps to the plastic flue adapter by inserting the pins into the pin sockets.
18. Test the appliance to ensure it is working properly.
