To use the Testboy Schuki 3A Schuko Tester for checking the wiring in power sockets, please follow these steps:
1. Before using the tester, make sure to check its functionality by testing it against a known voltage supply, such as a power socket, to ensure it is working correctly.
2. Insert the tester into the power socket you want to check. The tester will indicate the results with an optical indication.
3. The tester is designed to determine the correct or incorrect connection of wires in power sockets. It is important to apply the correct phase for accurate results.
4. Please note that the tester is not suitable for dual-conductor mains (classic zeroing), and it will not recognize the interchange of the neutral conductor and protective conductor (earth).
5. If the tester indicates a fault condition in the wiring under test, it is recommended to investigate the wiring or have it investigated by a competent person.
6. Do not contact across two phases of a three-phase supply, as the tester will not correctly test circuits using an isolation transformer.
7. Before testing, disconnect any loads from the circuits of all socket outlets in the same distribution board as the one under test, as some loads connected may lead to measuring errors.
8. Use caution with voltages above 30 V AC, as a shock hazard may exist.
Please refer to the Testboy Schuki 3A Schuko Tester Instruction Manual for more detailed information and safety precautions.
