To install the TFC Group APUMPHE Tower Smart Band A Circulating Pump, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 0°C and +40°C and the relative humidity does not exceed 95%.
2. Make sure the liquid temperature is between +2°C and +110°C. The temperature of the liquid being pumped must always be higher than the ambient temperature to prevent condensation.
3. Install the pump in a stable and horizontal position. Use the arrow on the motor pump case to indicate the flow direction of the liquid through the pump.
4. Install the two gaskets supplied at the inlet and outlet of the pump.
5. If needed, you can change the position of the junction box by following these steps:
a. Close the valves at the inlet and outlet and release the pressure.
b. Unscrew and remove the four socket head screws that fasten the pump body.
c. Rotate the motor to the required position and align the four xxxx holes.
d. Install the four socket head screws again and fasten them clockwise, ensuring they are fully tightened.
e. Open the valves at the inlet and outlet.
6. Ensure that the motor pump body and pipeline are thermally insulated to reduce heat loss. However, do not insulate or cover the junction box and control panel.
7. Connect the motor pump to an external power switch with a minimum contact gap of 3mm in both poles. The motor pump must be earthed.
8. Check if the supply voltage and frequency match the parameters indicated on the nameplate of the motor pump. Connect the motor pump to the power supply using the provided plug.
9. Once the power is supplied, the indicator lamp on the control panel should turn on.
