To install the LeoVince 15007-15007B Slip On Classic Racer exhaust on your Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 / Interceptor 650, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Start by removing the original equipment (OE) silencer from your motorcycle.
2. Ensure that the mating surfaces are clean and in good condition. Slide the link pipe onto the original header, being careful not to damage the graphite bushing (if supplied) that should replace the OE bushing. Partially tighten the securing strap to allow for further adjustment.
3. Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe. Check the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the alignment of the exhaust outlet to the rear of the silencer. Use the provided springs to link the parts together.
4. Mount the spacers, washers, and brackets (if any) as shown in the drawing provided in the manual. Secure them by tightening the nuts and bolts.
5. Tighten the various clamps that join the LeoVince link pipe to the OE exhaust headers.
6. Start the engine and wait a few minutes until it reaches operating temperature. Check for any gas leaks.
7. During the first kilometer of running, the exhaust system needs to break-in, so slight gas leakage might occur. After approximately 100 km, check all the fasteners to ensure they are secure.
