Yes, Mannington ADURA Rigid can be installed over most existing hard-surface floor coverings as long as the existing floor is well bonded, flat, and smooth. However, it should not be installed over carpet. If the existing floor is ceramic tile and uneven, it should be made smooth by applying an overlay such as cementitious patching or leveling compound. It is important to ensure that the existing floor does not exceed one layer in thickness and is free from deflection.
