To select a device type and set a DALI address on the HAVIT Lighting HV9107-2309P-5C Dali DT8 LED Strip Controller, follow these steps:
1. Select a Device Type:
- Press and hold down both buttons until the digital display flashes, then release the buttons.
- Click the second button repeatedly to cycle through the 7 device types available. The device types are as follows:
- "2*Tc": This device type controls 2 groups of tunable white LED separately using 2 DALI addresses.
- "XY+Tc": This device type controls RGB & CCT LED separately using 2 DALI addresses.
- "RGBWAF+Tc": This device type controls RGB & CCT LED separately using 2 DALI addresses.
- "XY+DT6": This device type controls RGB & W LED separately using 2 DALI addresses.
- "XY": This device type controls RGB LED using 1 DALI address.
- "Tc": This device type controls tunable white LED using 1 DALI address.
- "RGBWAF": This device type controls RGB+CCT LED using 1 DALI address.
- Once you have selected the desired device type, press and hold down both buttons until the digital display stops flashing to confirm the selection.
2. Set a DALI Address:
- Press and hold down either of the two buttons until the numeric digital display flashes, then release the button.
- Click either of the two buttons once to select a digit, and click again to change the digit until the desired DALI address appears. The first button sets the "tens" position, and the second button sets the "units" position. The address can be set from 00 to 63.
- Press and hold down either of the two buttons until the numeric digital display stops flashing to confirm the setting.
Note: By default, no DALI address is assigned to the dimmer, and the display shows "--". Setting a DALI address will reset the dimmer to factory defaults.
Once an address is selected, depending on the device type, the control gear may occupy 2 consecutive addresses or 1 address. For example, if the control gear is addressed to 22 on the display, when the device type is a multi-address type, the control gear occupies addresses 22 & 23. When the device type is a single-address type, the control gear occupies address 22.
You can also assign the DALI address using a DALI Master controller. Please refer to the user manuals of compatible DALI Masters for specific operations.
