To install and connect the STAHL 210731 miniCLIX Plug Connector Coupling, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power supply is turned off before starting the installation.
2. Determine the appropriate location for the coupling, considering the cable length and accessibility.
3. Prepare the cable by stripping off the outer insulation to expose the individual wires.
4. If using a crimp connection, use a crimping tool (Art. No. 154587) to attach the wires to the connector. Make sure to use the appropriate crimp connection version for your cable size (up to 4 mm²).
5. If using a spring clamp terminal, insert the stripped wires into the appropriate terminals and tighten the screws to secure the connection.
6. Once the cable is connected, insert the plug end of the coupling into the corresponding socket or device plug.
7. Ensure that the coupling is securely locked in place. Note that the STAHL 210731 miniCLIX Plug Connector Coupling does not have a locking device.
8. If necessary, use an anti-twist protection accessory (Art. No. 154577) to prevent the coupling from rotating or twisting.
9. Test the connection by turning on the power supply and verifying that the circuit is functioning properly.
