To install the STAHL 210747 miniCLIX Plug Connector Flange Socket, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the installation area is within Zone 1 and Zone 2, suitable for harsh industry environments.
2. Check the explosion protection certifications, such as the IECEx gas certificate (IECEx BKI 07.0001X) and ATEX gas certificate (PTB 07 ATEX 1028 X).
3. Verify the electrical data, including the rated operational voltage AC (380 – 415 V) and switching capacity (AC-1: 400 V / 16 A).
4. Consider the ambient temperature range (-55 °C to +40 °C for the plastic version and -55 °C to +40 °C for the metal version).
5. Note the degree of protection, which is IP66 with IP68 (2 m water column, 1 hour) according to IEC/EN 60529 when the protective caps are closed and secured.
6. Determine the cable entry size (M25) and the recommended color ring coding (Blue) for identification.
7. Identify the number of poles (6 P + PE) and the weight of the product (0.1 kg or 0.22 lb).
8. Choose the appropriate connection type (1.5 mm² crimp) for the cable.
9. Check if any accessories are required, such as anti-twist protection, crimping tools, or protective caps.
