To assemble the caster system for your Shop-Vac, please follow these steps:
1. With the cord disconnected from the receptacle and the tank cover removed, turn the tank upside-down so the bottom is facing up.
2. Take the accessory caddy and place it into the slots located on the rear of the tank, opposite the drain. Secure it with the screws provided.
3. Take two casters and place a flat washer over the stem of each caster. Install the casters into the accessory caddy by inserting the caster stems into the holes provided. Apply pressure and a twisting motion until the casters snap into place.
4. With the tank drain facing you, take the caster foot marked with the letter A and place it into the slot on the left side of the tank, also marked with the letter A. Secure the caster foot to the tank with the xxxx provided.
5. Take the caster foot marked with the letter B and place it into the slot on the right side of the tank, also marked with the letter B. Secure the caster foot to the tank with the xxxx provided.
6. Take the remaining casters and place a flat washer over the stem of each caster. Insert the casters into the caster feet by placing the caster stems into the holes provided. Apply pressure and a twisting motion until the casters snap into place.
7. With the tank drain facing you, attach hose holder A to caster foot A, and hose holder B to caster foot B. Apply pressure to the front of the hose holder to snap it into place.
8. Return the tank to an upright position.
Once you have completed these steps, your caster system should be properly assembled and ready for use.
