To install the Haier HAVG5 Induction Hobs, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the worktop is heat resistant to a temperature of 100°C and has a thickness of 25-45 mm.
2. Cut out the insert in the worktop according to the dimensions shown in Figure 2 of the instruction manual.
3. If there is an accessible space between the built-in hob and the cavity below, insert a dividing wall made of insulating material (wood or similar) to prevent heat transfer (Figure 3).
4. If the hob is fitted next to a cabinet, ensure that there is a minimum distance of 15 cm between the hob and the cabinet. The distance between the cutout and the rear wall should be at least 7 cm for frontal control hobs and 50 mm for lateral control hobs.
5. The distance between the hob and any other unit or appliance above it (e.g. an extractor hood) should be no less than 700 mm (Figure 4).
6. Connect the hob to the power supply by following the electrical connection instructions in the manual. It is recommended to hire a qualified electrician for this task.
7. Connect the hob to the gas supply by following the gas connection instructions in the manual. Gas installation should be carried out by a qualified professional.
8. Once the installation is complete, check for gas leaks by applying a soapy solution to the pipe connections. Do not use a flame to check for leaks.
9. Finally, ensure that the hob is properly secured using the Fixing Clamps provided.
