The clinical performance of the CorDx COVID-19 Ag Test was evaluated in a prospective clinical study. The test showed a positive percent agreement (PPA) of 89.7% and a negative percent agreement (NPA) of 99.7% when compared to a highly sensitive molecular FDA EUA-authorized RT-PCR method. It is important to note that antigen tests, including the CorDx COVID-19 Ag Test, may have a higher chance of false negative results compared to molecular tests. Repeat testing with serial testing is recommended to improve test accuracy.
