The FISHER PAYKEL HC90PLX4 Wall Rangehood is designed for easy installation. It can be either externally ducted or internally recirculated, making it suitable for apartments as well. Here is a step-by-step guide to installing the rangehood:
1. Determine the desired height of the rangehood. The height can be adjusted between 610mm and 1050mm.
2. If you are externally ducting the rangehood, ensure that there is a suitable ducting outlet in the wall or ceiling behind the rangehood. If you are internally recirculating, you will need to install the optional recirculation diverter (791820) and carbon filter (792481).
3. Attach the chimney extension (792492) if necessary, depending on the height of your ceiling.
4. Mount the rangehood onto the wall using the provided brackets and screws. Ensure that it is securely fixed.
5. Connect the rangehood to the power supply. The supply voltage should be 220-240V and the supply frequency should be 50Hz.
6. Install the aluminum filters (792527) into the rangehood. These filters effectively trap grease particles during extraction.
7. If desired, install the optional eave ducting kit (PD-RHK15OE), roof ducting kit (PD-RHK150T), or side wall ducting kit (PD-RHK15OW) for external ducting.
8. The rangehood is now ready to use. Simply select the desired fan speed using the push buttons on the rangehood.
