To install the Parrot Uncle F6230Q110V Nickel Flush Mount Crystal Ceiling Fan, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the electricity is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before starting the installation.
2. Make sure the outlet box and support structure are securely mounted and capable of supporting the weight of the fan (35 lbs or 15.9 kg).
3. Mount the fan with a minimum clearance of 7 ft (2m) from the trailing edge of the blades to the floor.
4. Do not operate the reversing switch while the fan blades are in motion. Turn off the fan and stop the blades before reversing the blade direction.
5. Avoid placing objects in the path of the blades.
6. Be cautious when working around or cleaning the fan to avoid personal injury or damage.
7. Follow the provided electrical diagrams for reference. Use only UL-listed light kits and switches suitable for use with the fan model.
8. After making electrical connections, ensure that spliced conductors are turned upward and pushed carefully into the outlet box. Spread the wires apart with the grounded conductor and equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box.
9. Check and re-tighten all setscrews before installation.
10. Do not bend the blade brackets during assembly or after installation. Avoid inserting objects in the path of the blades.
