To calibrate the throttle range on the HOBBYWING QUICRUN WP 1080 Brushed ESC, follow these steps:
1. Turn on your transmitter and ensure that all parameters on the throttle channel are set to default (100%). If your transmitter doesn't have an LCD, turn the xxxx to the maximum and set the throttle "TRIM" to 0. Also, make sure the "ABS/braking function" of your transmitter is disabled.
2. With the transmitter on and the ESC turned off but connected to a battery, hold the SET button on the ESC and press the ON/OFF button to turn on the ESC. The RED LED on the ESC will start flashing, and the motor will beep at the same time.
3. Release the SET button immediately after the RED LED starts flashing (within 3 seconds). The ESC will enter the programming mode.
4. Set the neutral point: Leave the transmitter at the neutral position and press the SET button. The RED LED will flash 1 time, and the motor will beep 1 time to accept the neutral position.
5. Set the full throttle endpoint: Pull the throttle trigger to the full throttle position and press the SET button. The RED LED will blink 2 times, and the motor will beep 2 times to accept the full throttle endpoint.
6. Set the full brake endpoint: Push the throttle trigger to the full brake position and press the SET button. The RED LED will blink 3 times, and the motor will beep 3 times to accept the full brake endpoint.
7. After completing the throttle calibration, wait for 3 seconds before starting the motor.
By calibrating the throttle range, you should be able to achieve proper control and full power from your rock crawler. If you continue to experience issues, refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual or contact HOBBYWING customer support for further assistance.
