To replace the RCD board in your myenergi A3552-5-S RCD Board, please follow the installation guide provided:
1. Isolate the supply to the zappi.
2. Unclip the front fascia and set it aside.
3. Undo the 8 screws holding the main enclosure cover to the body and carefully pull the cover forwards.
4. Unplug the ribbon cable from the front cover and lay the cover on a flat surface, ensuring it is protected from scratches.
5. Locate the RCD board in the top left corner, which sits on top of the main circuit board. The existing board is held in place by 2 clips on the bottom edge. Push both clips down towards the bottom of the zappi to release the board, then pull it away.
6. Pull the board downwards and out of the socket on the top edge.
7. Hold the new RCD board by its edges and refit it in the same way, pushing it back down until it clicks into place and sits flush. Ensure both clips are fully engaged.
8. Before closing the zappi, check that none of the surrounding cables or connections have been loosened or disconnected.
9. Refit the front cover, ensuring the ribbon is securely pushed back in, and then secure the cover by tightening the 8 screws to 1.2N m.
10. Refit the colored fascia.
For commissioning, follow these steps:
1. Restore the supply to the zappi and carry out a full range of RCD tests using suitable test equipment.
2. Before leaving the site, always check that the customer's EV will charge.
