To descale the DOMO DO7113S Iron with Steam Generator, follow these steps:
1. Fill half of the water reservoir with a mixture of 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water.
2. Plug the appliance into a wall socket and turn the temperature dial to "dry ironing".
3. The temperature indicator light will light up, indicating that the appliance is heating up. Wait until the appliance has heated up.
4. Hold the iron over a sink or basin.
5. Press and hold the steam button for one minute to produce continuous steam. The appliance will clean itself during this process.
Note: Avoid contact with the hot steam to prevent burns.
6. Empty the water reservoir and refill it with water only.
7. Turn the temperature dial to the maximum setting and wait until the appliance reaches the desired temperature.
8. Repeat the cycle of steam spraying with just water 2 to 3 times until the vinegar smell has disappeared.
It is important to descale the steam generator regularly to extend the life of the appliance and ensure it continues to work properly.
