To change the drill bit on the TYROLIT DRS250 Core Drilling System, please follow these steps:
1. Before beginning any work on the tool, always disconnect the plug from the mains power.
2. Ensure that the drill spindle has a right-hand thread. To counterhold the spindle, use a jaw wrench with a size of SW 32.
3. Do not remove the drill bit with impacts, as this could damage it. Instead, apply some waterproof grease to the drill bit thread between the spindle and the drill bit. Place a copper ring between the spindle and the drill bit to make it easier to remove the drill bit.
4. Carefully unscrew and remove the drill bit from the spindle.
5. When inserting a new drill bit, ensure it is securely fixed in place.
Note: Always use protective gloves when changing the drill bit, as the machine and drill bit can become hot during use.
