To install the , follow these steps:
1. Choose the appropriate mounting option: You can mount the bus carrier on a DIN rail using the NS 35/15 standard or on a mounting plate using four M5 screws.
2. Ensure proper electrical connections: Connect the bus carrier to the Yokogawa ALF111 FF H1 host assemblies using the system connector for the Yokogawa AKB336 system cable. Connect the trunk using the 3-pole connection on the bus carrier and the 3-pole connection on the 9412 series fieldbus power supply. Connect the auxiliary power using the 2-pole connection on the bus carrier.
3. Install the diagnostics communication module (optional): If you want to transmit diagnostic data for up to eight segments, you can install the 9415 series diagnostics communication module.
4. Ensure proper grounding: Use the earth connection terminal to establish a proper grounding connection. You can use either rigid or flexible single-wire connections or flexible connections with sleeves for trunk, host, auxiliary power, fault message contact, and earthing.
5. Mount the bus carrier: Place the bus carrier on the chosen mounting option (DIN rail or mounting plate) and secure it using the appropriate tightening torque (2.6 Nm).
6. Verify the installation: Check the LED indicators on the bus carrier. The "pri" LED should be green, indicating proper auxiliary power operation. The "red" LED should also be green, indicating redundant auxiliary power monitoring.
