To download and set up the 701x app for the cTag Livestock GPS Ear Tags, please follow these steps:
1. Open the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) on your phone.
2. Search for "701x" in the search bar.
3. Locate the official 701x app and tap on it to open the app page.
4. Click on the "Download" or "Install" button to begin the download and installation process.
5. Wait for the app to finish downloading and installing on your phone.
6. Once the installation is complete, locate the app on your phone's home screen and tap on it to open.
7. Follow the onscreen prompts within the app to create an account. Provide the required information and choose a secure password. Remember to note down your login credentials for future use.
8. After creating an account, log in to the app using your credentials.
9. To connect the cTag Livestock GPS Ear Tags with the app, scan the 3D barcode located on the front of the tag. The app will automatically populate the tag's information.
10. Assign the tag to the specific animal it will be applied to within the app.
11. Now, locate a suitable tagging site on the animal's ear, which is the middle portion between the upper and lower cartilage.
12. Place the tag in the 701x applicator and apply it to the animal's ear according to the instructions provided in the user manual.
