To set up the ONE FOR ALL URC 4812 TV Replacement Remote for your Sony TV, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your Sony TV is turned on and not on standby mode.
2. Insert the batteries into the remote.
3. Test some of the keys on the remote. If they work, your remote is ready to use. If not, proceed to the next steps.
4. Hold down the Red + Blue buttons on the remote until the LED behind the Power Key blinks twice.
5. Point the remote towards the TV and hold down the Power key until the TV turns off.
6. The remote will send a different Power signal every 3 seconds. As soon as the TV turns off, release the Power key.
7. The LED will blink twice, indicating that the remote is ready to use.
8. Test the rest of the keys on the remote. If they work as your original remote did, your remote is ready to use. If some keys do not work as expected, proceed to the next step.
9. If some keys still do not work as expected, hold down the Red + Blue buttons until the LED blinks twice.
10. Point the remote towards the TV and hold down the key that is not working correctly (e.g., HOME).
11. The remote will send a signal every 3 seconds. When the correct function is shown on the screen (e.g., HOME), release the key.
12. The LED will blink twice, indicating that the remote is ready to use.
