To install the SuperFish Solar Fish Automatic Feeder, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location near your pond that is easily accessible for refilling the feeder with food.
2. Ensure that the feeder is anchored to prevent tipping over. There are two ways to secure it:
- Option A: Attach the supplied ground pins to the underside of the feeder and firmly set it into the ground.
- Option B: Fasten the feeder on the floor (e.g., on a deck) using 4 screws (not supplied).
3. Make sure the feeder is completely level.
4. If you are feeding small pellets (2-4 mm), place the insert ring in the bottom of the container.
5. Fill the container with pellets, up to a maximum of 6 liters, of the appropriate size.
- Note: Ensure that the food remains dry at all times. Moist food can cause the feeder to block and not function correctly.
6. Switch on the feeder using the on/off switch located on the left-hand side.
7. To test the operation of the feeder, press and hold the 'RUN' button on the control panel for as long as the beep sounds. A small amount of food will be dispensed.
