To tune the Kogan LP1 Electric Guitar, follow these steps:
1. Start by turning on the clip-on tuner by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds.
2. Cycle through the tuning modes by pressing the power button until you reach the "Guitar" tuning mode.
3. Clip the tuner onto the headstock of the guitar.
4. Play a single string on the guitar. The note name and string number will be shown on the display.
5. If the note shown is green and the meter stands in the center, the string is in tune. If the note shown is white and the meter stands either left or right of the center, the string is either flat (♭) or sharp (♯).
6. Continue adjusting the tuning pegs until the played string's note turns green and its meter stands in the middle.
7. Repeat this process for each string, ensuring they are all in tune.
Note: If the strings are off tune by more than one note, avoid turning the tuning key too fast to prevent the string from breaking. Take your time to allow the strings to adjust to the new tension.
