To connect your Poly Studio P21 personal meeting display to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your computer meets the requirements: Your computer or laptop must have one of the following operating systems and the required DisplayLink drivers:
- Windows 8.1, Windows 10, or Windows 11
- macOS version 10.15.0 or later
2. Connect the USB cable: Plug the USB-C end of the supplied cable into the USB-C port on your Poly Studio P21. Plug the other end of the cable (with the USB-A to USB-C adapter) into a USB-A or USB-C port on your computer. Note that the cable is directional, so make sure to connect it correctly.
3. Use a USB 3.0 port: It is recommended to connect your personal meeting display to a USB 3.0 port on your computer. Connecting to a USB 2.1 or 2.0 port may result in lower video quality.
4. Avoid using third-party cables or adapters: It is recommended to use the cable provided with your device. Using a third-party USB-C to USB-C cable or USB-A to USB-C adapter may affect device performance or video quality.
5. Avoid using docking stations or hubs: For optimal video quality, it is recommended to plug the USB cable directly into your computer. Connecting through a docking station or hub may affect video quality.
Once you have connected your Poly Studio P21 personal meeting display to your computer, it should be ready to use. Make sure to set it as the default audio and video device in your conferencing application if necessary.
