To adjust the hanging length of the chandelier, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired hanging length by removing chain links (GG) and optionally cutting the electrical and ground wire to length. Do not cut the wires until the overall length is determined.
2. Leave at least 6 inches minimum of wire past the chain holder (EE) to allow for easy connections in the next step.
3. Open a chain link at one end of the chain (GG) using pliers. Hook the open chain link onto the fixture (A) and close the chain links back together with the pliers.
4. Open the quick link (HH) and attach the other end of the chain (GG) and the chain holder (EE) onto the quick link. Close the quick link.
5. Weave the wires through every third chain link (GG). Continue to pass the wires and chain through the xxxx collar (DD) and canopy (JJ).
By following these steps, you can adjust the hanging length of the chandelier to your desired height.
