To use the sanitize feature on the Fisher & Paykel DD24DTX6PX1 Double DishDrawer Dishwasher, follow these steps:
1. Load your dishes into the dishwasher, making sure they are arranged properly and not blocking the spray arms.
2. Close the dishwasher drawer securely.
3. Press the power button to turn on the dishwasher.
4. Select the desired wash program by pressing the corresponding button on the control panel. The sanitize feature can be used with any wash program.
5. Press the "Sanitize" button to activate the sanitize feature. The sanitize indicator light will illuminate.
6. Adjust any other desired wash modifiers or options, such as "Dry+" or "Quiet," if needed.
7. Press the start button to begin the wash cycle.
During the sanitize cycle, the dishwasher will heat the water to a high temperature to kill bacteria and sanitize your dishes. This feature is particularly useful for items like baby bottles, cutting boards, and utensils that require extra cleanliness.
