To charge the battery pack, connect the charger to a wall outlet. The green light on the charger will illuminate. Then, insert the battery pack into the charging base. When the battery is properly inserted, both the green and red lights will illuminate together, indicating that the battery is charging. Please note that the battery pack may not reach full charge the first time it is charged, so it is recommended to allow several cycles of drilling followed by recharging for the battery to reach its full charge. Also, avoid charging the batteries in areas of extreme heat or cold.
