To install the systemair KV 315 L SILEO Circular Dust Fan, follow these steps:
1. Determine the mounting position: The fan can be installed in any position, either duct or wall mounted. It can also be installed outdoors or in wet areas.
2. Prepare the duct: Ensure that the duct is clean and free from any obstructions.
3. Mounting the fan: Use the FK mounting clamp provided to facilitate easy installation and removal. This clamp also prevents the transfer of vibration to the duct. Attach the fan securely to the duct using the clamp.
4. Electrical connections: Connect the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram provided in the manual. The U1 wire should be connected to the blue wire, U2 to the black wire, Z to the brown wire, and PE to the yellow/green wire.
5. Speed control: The fan can be speed-controlled via a stepless thyristor or a 5-step transformer. Choose the appropriate speed control method based on your requirements.
6. Thermal protection: The fan has integral thermal contacts with manual reset to protect the motor from overheating. Ensure that these contacts are properly connected and functioning.
7. Testing: Once the installation is complete, test the fan to ensure it is operating correctly. Check for any unusual noises or vibrations.
