To properly use the SEALEY SJBEX200.V2 2-3tonne Jacking Beam with 1.6 Meter Extending Arms And Flat Rollers, please follow these steps:
1. Safety Precautions:
- Ensure the beam is in good working order and not damaged.
- Do not alter or modify the beam in any way.
- Do not exceed the rated capacity of the beam.
- Only use the beam for its intended purpose.
- Consult the vehicle manufacturer for the correct lifting locations.
- Make sure the vehicle is in park and the handbrake is on before lifting.
- Use the saddles provided with the jacking beam.

2. Locating the Jacking Beam:
- Extend the roller arms to the correct width for the ramp or pit runners.
- Position the beam centrally on the ramp or pit and tighten the roller arm set bolts.
- Adjust the spring tension on all four rollers so that they support the weight of the beam but allow it to travel freely over the ramp or pit.
3. Using Hook Arm Supports (if applicable):
- Loosen the roller arm set bolts and withdraw the roller arms from the main frame.
- Insert the hook arm supports with the channel facing downwards and set them to match the width of the vertical runners.
- Tighten all four support arm set bolts before mounting the jacking beam onto the runners.
4. Jacking a Vehicle:
- Position the beam under the vehicle at the designated jacking points.
- Evaluate which saddle pair combinations are best suited for the job.
- Adjust the telescopic arms to line up the saddles with the jacking points.
- Turn the release valve clockwise and start raising the jack by operating the pump handle.
- Raise the beam in short increments and ensure the saddles are centered on the jacking points.
- Once the setup is stable, lift the vehicle to the required height.
- Make sure the locking handle is engaged, and if not, adjust the beam to the closest locking point.
5. Lowering the Vehicle:
- Follow the procedure outlined in the Jacking Beam Controls section of the manual.
