To connect the Fosi Audio K5 USB Gaming DAC to your PC, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the following items: Fosi Audio K5, PC, USB Type-C cable, Headset Microphone Two-in-one Adapter cable, headphones or powered speakers.
2. Connect the K5 to your PC using the USB Type-C cable.
3. If your headphone has a microphone, connect it to the K5 using the Headset Microphone Two-in-one Adapter cable. If not, you can connect the headphone directly.
4. Long press the multi-function xxxx on the K5 until the Input Mode Indicator lights up to turn on the device.
5. Short press the multi-function xxxx to select the USB input mode. The USB input mode light will stay on blue.
6. Left click the sound icon on your PC and change the sound output device to "Fosi Audio K5".
7. Turn up the volume on the K5.
8. Play music on your PC and enjoy!
Note: Before powering on the K5, make sure to turn down the volume to the minimum. The volume control xxxx on the K5 serves as the power switch and mode switch. Long-press to turn on and off, and short-press to switch between modes. The mode selection can be memorized when you switch off the device.
