To install the SUN ZERO 60655 Cordless Roman Shade, you have two options: outside mount or inside mount. Here are the steps for each option:

Outside Mount:
1. Measure the width and height of your window frame.
2. Add 6-10 inches to the window frame width to determine the Roman Shade width.
3. Add 3-5 inches to the window frame height to determine the Roman Shade height.
4. Fix the brackets on the wall surface above the window frame, ensuring they are positioned 3-5 inches from the sides of the window frame.
5. Drill holes for the bracket screws and insert wall anchors if mounting on drywall.
6. Securely fasten the brackets to the wall using the bracket screws.

Inside Mount:
1. Measure the inside width and height of your window.
2. Subtract 0.25 inch from the window inside width to determine the Roman Shade width.
3. Use the window inside height as the Roman Shade height.
4. Fix the brackets onto the ceiling (top) inside the window frame, leaving a depth of at least 2 inches.
5. Ensure the brackets are positioned 3-5 inches from the sides of the window frame.
6. Place the bracket screws through the top holes and tighten them securely to the top of the window frame.

Once the brackets are installed, you can fit the shade and secure the headrail by following these steps:
1. Remove the Roman Shade from the velcro attachment on the front of the headrail.
2. Place the headrail onto the brackets by inserting the back side of the headrail first and then pushing the front side upward until it snaps into place.
3. Reattach the Roman Shade to the velcro strip on the front of the headrail.

For operating the shade, to lower it, pull the bottom edge of the back liner until the desired height, then pull it again to hold the shade in place. To raise the shade, pull the bottom edge of the back liner twice to release it, lift it to the desired height, and then pull the back liner again to hold the shade in place.
