Installation:
1. The installation of the Welldana Pool Control unit should only be performed by an authorized electrician.
2. Ensure that the control unit is not damaged or malfunctioning before installation.
3. The control unit must be protected by a fuse with a maximum rating of 16 A (230 V AC).
4. Connect the voltage supply (230 V AC; 50-60 Hz) to the mains inlet of the control unit.
5. Install any additional accessories, such as the remote control (type 34-015041) or temperature sensors, if required.
Operation:
1. The Welldana Pool Control unit is designed to control various functions in spa baths and swimming pools.
2. The unit has relay outputs (A, B, C, D, E) for controlling the following functions:
- A: Filter pump with on/off switch and external timer (timer not included).
- B: Chemicals control.
- C: Electric heater/heat exchanger with thermostat control.
- D: Room temperature control with thermostat (requires an extra temperature sensor).
- E: Water-level control in spa/pool.
- F: External timer (voltage supply for external clock/timer).
- G: Mains inlet (230 V AC).
3. The filter pump can be started and stopped using the on/off switch on the side of the unit. If the timer function is not used, terminals U0 and U1 must be short-circuited.
4. The chemicals control output is parallel to the filter pump output and can be activated/deactivated via the main switch.
5. The electric heater/heat exchanger output is only active when the filter pump is running and specific conditions are met.
6. The room temperature control is activated when a temperature difference of < 2-3°C is detected between the spa/pool and the room temperature. A separate temperature sensor is required for this function.
7. The water-level control output is for controlling a solenoid valve and is independent of the filter pump.
8. The external timer function provides voltage supply for an external clock/timer. If not used, terminals U0 and U1 must be short-circuited.
9. The Welldana Pool Control unit also has earth terminals for terminals A-G.
Please refer to the instruction manual for further details and specific wiring diagrams for each function.
