To install the Saxby 77915 Lucca Mini MW LED Bulkhead, please follow these steps:
1. Before installation, ensure that the power supply is switched off at the mains.
2. Carefully remove any existing light fittings and make note of the position of each set of wires.
3. Plan the desired layout of the fittings, ensuring that the cables will reach the distance between the junction box and the light fitting.
4. Avoid locating cables in positions that could cause hazards.
5. Position cables and outdoor-rated junction boxes away from areas where they may be at risk of being cut, trapped, or damaged.
6. Use H05RN-F specification cable, which is an outdoor-grade, rubber-sheathed cable.
7. The mains supply cable must have a minimum cross-sectional area of 1.0mm2.
8. Protect cables using suitable conduit or plastic trunking.
9. The product can be wall or ceiling-mounted. If wall mounting, ensure that the power supply is at the bottom.
10. Mark the position of the fixing holes and knock them out.
11. Fix the product into position, taking care to avoid damaging any concealed wiring and pipes. Use the correct fixings for brick, cavity walls, or plasterboard.
12. Pierce a hole in the grommet and pull the cable through.
13. Wire the product as detailed in the wiring instructions.
14. Ensure that the connections are tight and no loose strands have been left out of the connection block.
15. Seal the screws and cable entry points to maintain the IP rating of the product.
16. Refit the shade, ensuring that the seals are correctly located.
17. Gently push the chosen casing onto the shade until it clips in place.
18. Replace the fuse or circuit breaker and switch on the power supply.
