To properly set up and position your JZ MICROPHONES Vintage Series Vintage 12 Condenser Microphone, follow these steps:
1. Take the microphone out of the box and remove the shipping crew from the back (V67, 47, V12) / top (V11) of the microphone using an appropriate screwdriver.
2. Mount the microphone on a microphone stand.
3. For V67, V47, and V12: To position the microphone, release the swivel mount by turning the fixing ring counterclockwise. To fix the microphone position, turn the fixing ring clockwise. If you can't release the fixing ring, hold the swivel mount and gently turn the microphone counterclockwise.
4. For V11: Take the included shock-mounted holder and connect both screws with the microphone.
5. Experiment with different positions and angles of the microphone to the sound source until you achieve the desired sound. The angle of the microphone can influence the sound of your recording.
It is important to note that before using the Vintage series microphone, you must remove the shipping xxxx located at the back of the microphone. This xxxx must be removed for the microphone to function properly.
