To install the eyepieces on the Celestron 21024 First Scope, follow these steps:
1. Remove the lens cap from the front of the optical tube.
2. Ensure that the thumbscrews on the focuser are not protruding into the focuser tube.
3. Select the desired eyepiece. Two eyepieces are included: a 20 mm eyepiece (15x magnification) and a 4 mm eyepiece (75x magnification).
4. Insert the chrome barrel of the eyepiece into the focuser.
5. Tighten the thumbscrews on the focuser to secure the eyepiece. Be careful not to overtighten.
6. To change eyepieces, simply reverse the procedure described above.
Note: The low-power eyepiece (20 mm) is recommended for locating objects, while the high-power eyepiece (4 mm) provides more magnification for detailed observations.
