To properly secure the inflatable, follow these steps:
1. Lay the inflatable out on a flat area of grass or gravel, avoiding slopes. Ensure the area is clear of leaves, loose dirt, and standing water.
2. Close the deflation zipper on the back of the inflatable.
3. Plug the fan into a Class A GFCI-protected receptacle to start inflating the inflatable. Help the inflatable inflate properly by ensuring all extremities are positioned correctly and untangling any twists.
4. For taller inflatables, connect the tie downs to the upper fabric or metal loops before fully inflating.
5. Once fully inflated, locate all the tie-down points around the base. Place a stake through each loop and press the stake about 2/3 of the way into the ground.
Note: If the inflatable is taller than 10 feet, you will need assistance to safely position and secure it.
6. For inflatables under 9 feet tall, install at least three upper tie downs. For inflatables over 10 feet tall, install four or more upper tie downs, depending on the inflatable. Attach each rope to a clip and attach the clip to the upper fabric or metal loops. If clips are not included, tie each rope directly to the loop.
7. Tie the ropes to additional ground stakes and secure them about 2/3 of the way into the ground.
8. To achieve a proper 45-degree angle, the stake distance (SD) from the inflatable should be roughly equal to the loop height (LH) on the inflatable.
9. Two of the side tie downs must angle forward by at least 30 degrees. Adjust stakes as needed to ensure the inflatable is fully upright and positioned correctly.
10. Once the inflatable is correctly positioned and all stakes have been placed, push all the stakes fully into the ground.
