To replace the batteries in the KaWe EUROLIGHT ophthalmoscope, follow these steps:
1. Unscrew the retaining xxxx on the handle and remove the ophthalmoscope head from the handle.
2. Insert the new batteries or accumulator into the handle, observing the polarity and the lamp voltage (2.5 or 3.5 V). Refer to Section 8: Maintenance and Service in the user manual for detailed information on battery installation.
3. xxxx the ophthalmoscope head back onto the handle, ensuring it is securely attached.
4. Switch on the ophthalmoscope by pressing the white switch and moving the light regulator to the left. To switch off, move the light regulator to the initial position (0) until it clicks. The brightness can be adjusted smoothly using the light regulator.
Please note that it is important to use only new, high-quality alkaline batteries or fully charged batteries for optimal performance.
