To connect the ELRO SF50GA K2 Connects Wifi Connector to your Wi-Fi network, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your smartphone is connected to the same network (2.4GHz) that you want to connect the K2 to.
2. Download the ELRO Connects 2.0 app on your smartphone and create an account by signing up with your email address.
3. Check your email for a verification code sent by cloud_intelligence@service.aliyun.com. Enter this code in the app within 20 minutes to verify your account.
4. Create a password for your account and accept the privacy policy and service agreement.
5. Press "Next" to complete the registration of your account.
6. In the app, press "Add devices" or the plus sign at the top right to add the K2 Connects Wifi Connector.
7. Plug the K2 into an outlet within range of your Wi-Fi network.
8. The K2 will automatically enter connection mode, indicated by a blue flashing LED. If not, press the button on the top of the K2 for 5 seconds until the blue LED flashes.
9. In the app, click "NEXT" and your network will be automatically found and displayed. Enter your network's password and click "NEXT".
10. The K2 will send a voice message when the connection is successful.
11. You can now change the K2's name and location to the room where you placed it. If your room is missing from the list, you can create one yourself.
LED Indication:
- Yellow: Flashes 3 times or is on continuously if the K2 Connector is not connected or cannot connect to your Wi-Fi.
- Green: Flashes 3 times and then stays on if the K2 is connected to your Wi-Fi.
- Green: Blinks per second if accessories can be added.
- Green: On if in the Home scene.
- Blue: Blinks per second if the K2 is ready to connect to your Wi-Fi.
- Blue: On if in the Away scene.
- Purple: On if in the Sleep scene.
- Red: Flashes every 2 seconds to indicate an alarm of devices.
- Red: Flashes every 5 seconds to indicate unread alarm messages.
If the installation fails, try the following:
1. Unplug the connector and wait for 10 seconds.
2. Press and hold the connector button until you hear a sound.
3. Insert the connector back into the socket and go through the installation process again, following the installation tips provided in the manual.
Note: Make sure your smartphone is connected to the 2.4GHz network, the Wi-Fi name and password do not contain spaces, and you have granted all permissions requested by the app. If your Wi-Fi network consists of a combined signal of both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, you may need to temporarily disable the 5GHz signal during installation. Contact your internet service provider for assistance with this.
