To assemble the ASHLEY D394-32 Furniture Skempton Rectangular Counter Table, please follow these steps:
1. Start by carefully unpacking all the components of the table and checking for any loose parts that may have come loose during shipping. If any parts are missing, please contact the retailer from where you purchased the product to obtain the missing parts.
2. Make sure you have all the necessary tools required for assembly.
3. Begin by attaching the legs to the tabletop. Align the pre-drilled holes on the legs with the corresponding holes on the tabletop. Insert the provided bolts through the holes and tighten them using the appropriate tool. Repeat this step for all legs.
4. Once the legs are securely attached, locate the bottom panel of the table. This is where the hardware for assembly is stored. Remove the hardware from the underside of the bottom panel.
5. Attach the bottom panel to the legs by aligning the pre-drilled holes. Insert the provided bolts through the holes and tighten them using the appropriate tool.
6. Check all connectors, including bolts and screws, to ensure they are tight. Periodically check these connectors to maintain the stability of the table.
7. If your table includes glass or mirrors, exercise caution when handling them. Do not attempt to move or assemble large pieces of glass or mirrors by yourself, as severe injury may result if they break.
8. If your table has electric cords, such as lamps or lights, always ensure the electrical cord is unplugged before assembly. Be careful not to twist the electrical cord during assembly.
9. When assembling shelves or entertainment centers, avoid standing on lower shelves to assemble upper shelves. Instead, use a step ladder for safety.
10. It is important to note that tables, including end tables, coffee tables, and dinner tables, are not designed to support the weight of a person. Avoid standing on them to prevent accidents or damage.
11. If the assembly instructions indicate that two or more people are required for assembly, do not attempt to assemble the table by yourself. Follow the instructions and seek assistance to minimize the risk of injury.
