To install the MATTEO X72301 Maru Flush Mount, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the power is completely off at the fuse box. It is highly recommended to have the fixture installed by a qualified licensed electrician.
2. Prepare the installation area by clearing any obstructions and ensuring you have enough space to work.
3. Wear gloves throughout the installation process for safety.
4. Read the instructions carefully before starting the assembly. It is also advised to keep the instruction sheet for future reference.
5. Please note that all Matteo Lighting fixtures come with pre-wired modules. Unless instructed otherwise, avoid touching any part of the module(s) as unnecessary contact could cause permanent damage.
6. Mounting: Switch off the main power supply.
7. Fit the mounting bracket (1) onto the mounting surface using the provided self-tapping screws (2).
8. Pass the wire (7) across the rods (6) and canopy (4) in the specified order. xxxx down all the rods securely.
9. Connect the wires (3) according to color, ensuring white wires are connected to white wires and black wires to black wires. Connect all earth plugs together onto the crossbar using the green xxxx to tighten.
10. Fit the ceiling plate (4) onto the mounting bracket using the provided nuts (5).
11. Connect the poles (6) to the ceiling plate on one end and to the lampholder on the other end.
12. Install the lamps (9) firmly into the lampholders.
13. Fit the lamp shade (10) into the lamp holders using the provided nuts (8).
14. Once the installation is complete, reconnect the power.
