To install the Versonel VSL90 Nightwatcher LED Home Security Lighting, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the power before installing the fixture to ensure safety.
2. Select an installation area between 6.6 ft/2 meters to 10 ft/3 meters above the ground.
3. Feed the fixture's black and white wires through the Universal mounting bracket and the EVA gasket before connecting them inside the junction box.
4. Use wire nuts to connect the wires inside the junction box: black to black (live) and white to white (neutral). Note that an earth or ground wire is not required as the fixture is double insulated.
5. Align the EVA gasket and Universal mounting bracket onto the junction box and tighten them with the junction box screws. Then, align and mount the light fixture onto the universal mounting bracket and cover the xxxx heads with the decorative xxxx covers.
6. Switch the power back on to the fixture. A green LED light will flicker on and off for 1 minute inside the sensor lens, indicating the warm-up process. Once the warm-up is complete, the green LED light will become stable.
7. The fixture has a built-in photocell that automatically activates during dusk/night time. To perform a walk test after installation, push and hold the SW4 button for 2 seconds. The LED light will turn on and rotate towards sensor detection. After 3 minutes, the LED light will automatically turn off and become active during night/dusk time operations.
