To use the VS Sassoon Elegance 2200 hair dryer, follow these steps:
1. Wash, condition, and towel dry your hair before using the dryer.
2. Make sure the dryer is switched off before plugging it into a suitable power outlet.
3. Use the high heat/speed settings (II/III) for initial drying.
4. As your hair begins to dry, switch to the low heat/speed settings (I) for styling and scrunch drying.
5. To finish, use the cool shot button to rapidly cool the hair and set the style in place.
6. After use, turn off the dryer by switching the speed setting switch to "O". Allow the dryer to cool before storing it away.
For specific styling techniques, the manual suggests the following:
- For straight hair: Use the dryer with the concentrator nozzle. Divide your hair into sections and hold the hair taut using a brush while directing the airflow down the hair shaft.
- For voluminous waves: Use the dryer without the nozzle. Flip your head upside down, grasp your hair at the roots, and scrunch between your fingertips while drying. When dry, finger comb to arrange your hair as desired.
Remember to always follow the safety instructions provided in the manual and consult a hairdresser if you have concerns about using heated appliances on heavily bleached or chemically treated hair.
