To print and transfer designs using FOREVER SUBLI Light No Cut Glitter, please follow these steps:
1. Print Settings:
- Set the image mode to mirrored.
- Use the Virtuoso Print Manager and the FOREVER Profile for printing with SAWGRASS SG400/800. For other sublimation printers, use the standard settings and standard driver. You can download the Virtuoso Print Manager installation instructions from the FOREVER website.
- Set the print quality to Priority Quality.
- Set the paper setting to Ink-Jet Normal Paper.
- Turn off the ICC Color Profile.
- Note: The "Image Style" option is only suitable for full-tone vector graphics and not recommended for photographs and light colors.
2. Color Chart: It is recommended to print a color chart to test the color range of your sublimation system (printer/ink/press). You can download the color chart from the FOREVER website and print it on white textile to avoid color deviation.
3. Transfer Process:
- Preheat your heat press, ensuring that the metal plate underneath the rubber mat is also hot.
- Place the textile on the lower plate of the heat press and pre-press it for 15-30 seconds.
- Place the transfer paper with the design onto the textile.
- Press for 20-30 seconds.
- Remove the transfer paper after 2 seconds. Do not remove the T-shirt from the press before peeling off the transfer paper.
- For better washability, place a sheet of Matt Finish Economy or Glossy Finish with the glossy side faced down onto your design and press again for 30 seconds with high pressure.
- Stretch the T-shirt while it is still hot to achieve a softer touch.
4. Heat Press Settings: Please refer to the manual or the manufacturer's instructions for the specific heat press settings required for FOREVER SUBLI Light No Cut Glitter.
5. Washing: Wash the printed textile inside out using a cold wash cycle with temperatures up to 40°C.
6. Drying: Do not tumble dry. Hang dry or line dry is recommended.
7. Ironing: When ironing, cover the print with baking paper.
Important Notes:
- Ensure that you are creating and selecting designs with a high ink amount to achieve the best print results.
- Transfer immediately after printing to avoid any loss of quality.
- Avoid using composite black, as it may change into brown after a few weeks or washes.
- Before starting mass production, it is advisable to conduct transfer and washing tests with all materials.
- For double-sided printing on textiles, place the T-shirt over the lower heat plate to treat only one side with heat and prevent the applied design from the other side from being pressed out again.
- If your T-Shirt is yellowing, lay a piece of fleece onto it during the transfer process.
