To install and set up the NightSearcher NSFESTOON22M8W Festoon LED Cable Light, please follow the steps below:
1. Determine the desired location: Choose a suitable indoor or outdoor location where you want to install the festoon lights.
2. Fixing the lights: Use the handy loops on the festoon lights to fix them in place using cable ties. Make sure the lights are securely fastened.
3. Connecting the cable: Connect the 22-meter yellow arctic grade cable to the festoon lights. The cable has a 16A 110V CEE plug that needs to be inserted into a compatible power source.
4. Power source: Ensure that the power source you are connecting the festoon lights to is a 110V AC 16A power supply.
5. Extension option: If you need to extend the length of the festoon lights, you can use the optional 14-meter extension lead (SPCABLE14M). This extension lead can be connected to the existing cable to increase the overall length.
6. Linking multiple festoons: If you have multiple festoon kits, you can link them together to form a longer light chain. This can be done using a junction box.
7. Safety precautions: The festoon lights are fully insulated for both indoor and outdoor use. The lights have an IP65 rating, which means they are protected against dust and water splashes. However, please ensure that the plug connection is kept away from water sources and is protected with an IP44 rated plug.
