To install the Progress Lighting P260002 Ceiling Fan Light Kit, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, ensure that all the necessary parts are included by referring to the contents diagram on page 1 of the manual. If any part is missing or damaged, do not proceed with the installation.
2. Turn off the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the light kit to reduce the risk of electric shock. Also, turn off the electricity at the main circuit breaker panel.
3. Make sure the supply conductors are rated for a minimum of 90°C. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician to ensure the correct branch circuit conductor.
4. If you are using any special control devices with this fixture, follow the instructions carefully to comply with N.E.C. requirements. If you have any questions, contact a qualified electrical contractor.
5. Handle the glass shades and bulbs with care as they are fragile.
6. This product must be installed by a person familiar with its construction and operation, as well as the hazards involved, in accordance with the applicable installation code.
7. The light kit should only be used with the specified fan models (P2501) manufactured by Chien Luen Industries (Zhong Shan) Ltd.
8. Prepare the necessary tools for assembly, including a Phillips screwdriver, pliers, wire stripper, safety glasses, electrical tape, and a ladder.
9. Shut off the main power supply before cleaning the product or changing light bulbs. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or cleaners containing alcohol.

10. Remove the fan switch housing cover by loosening the fan screws and lifting off the cover. Keep the screws for later in the installation.
11. Remove the center plug from the fan switch housing cover.

13. Carefully pull down the wires from the fan switch housing. Connect the light kit wires to the switch housing wires, matching black to blue and white to white, using male to female quick connects. Ensure a secure fit by aligning the tabs.
14. Attach the switch housing cover back onto the fan switch housing using the fan screws from Step 10.
