To install the YANDINA C100 Lithium Combiner 100, follow these steps:
1. Connect the black ground wire to the common negative of your battery banks. Make sure to shorten the wire if necessary.
2. The red cables connect to the positive terminals of the batteries. Do not shorten these power cables as it will void the warranty. Extending the cables is acceptable. The connection does not have to be made directly on the battery terminals, but any wires or cables between the battery and the combiner must be heavy enough to carry the combiner current in addition to any existing loads. Be careful not to let the second red lead touch ground when connecting the first lead, as the combiner may close momentarily.
3. Any other unused wires should be secured and the ends insulated.
For specific installation instructions for different types of vehicles (powerboats, commercial vehicles, travel trailers, motor homes), please refer to the corresponding sections in the owner's manual.
Note: It is recommended to have low-resistance connections for the battery circuits to ensure proper functioning. This includes clean metal-to-metal contact, the right size ring terminals, properly crimped terminals (preferably soldered as well), and secure mechanical fastenings.
