To set up the Akuvox SP-R67G Gigabit Ethernet IP Phone, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the phone and ensure that the package contains all the necessary items.
2. Mount the phone by sliding the short edges of the L-shaped stand (prongs) into the phone's rear slots until they are locked.
3. Connect the handset and optional headset to the phone.
4. Connect the network cable and power. You can either use the power adapter directly or connect the phone to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) compliant switch or hub. The phone can also share the network connection with other devices using the PC port.
5. After setting up the network and power, connect the IP phone to your computer and press the button to check the IP address in the main menu (if using DHCP to obtain an IP address).
6. Launch a web browser and enter the IP address to access the web interface. Login with the default username and password (admin).
7. Register the device using your SIP account. Refer to the user manual for more information on how to register the device.
