To adjust the cutting depth on the HILTI SC 70W-A22 Cordless Circular Saw, follow these steps:
1. Remove the battery from the saw for safety.
2. Locate the clamping lever for cutting depth adjustment on the side of the saw.
3. Release the clamping lever by loosening it.
4. Lift the saw in a scissor movement to raise the blade above the workpiece.
5. Set the desired cutting depth by closing the clamping lever at the desired position.
6. Make sure the clamping lever is securely tightened to hold the cutting depth in place.
It is important to set the cutting depth to a depth that is approximately 5 to 10 mm greater than the thickness of the material you are cutting. This will ensure proper cutting and prevent the blade from binding.
