To install the HINKLEY IS 19 Wall Lamp, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:

1. Before starting, make sure to shut off the electrical current. If the fixture is controlled by a wall switch, turn the switch off. If not, remove the appropriate fuse or open the circuit breakers until the fixture is dead.

2. Fasten the mounting strap (1) to the outlet box (A) using the two screws (2) provided. Refer to Drawing 1 for guidance.

3. Thread two hex nuts (3a) and (3b) onto the threaded tubing (4).

4. Thread one end of the threaded tubing (4) into the loop (5) for a minimum of 1/2" to 3/4". Tighten hex nut (3a) against the loop (5) to lock it in position.

5. Thread the other end of the threaded tube (4) into the mounting strap, approximately 1/2".

6. Slip the canopy (B) over the loop (5) and adjust the height of the loop so that half of the threaded area is exposed. After adjusting, tighten hex nut (3b) against the mounting strap to lock the loop and threaded tube in position.

7. Remove the mounting strap (1) from the junction box (A) and thread the third hex nut (3c) onto the end of the threaded tube (4) above the mounting strap. Tighten it against the mounting strap to lock the assembly in position.

8. Remount the mounting strap to the junction box.
